The Padrinos [puh-dree-nohz] is a private alliance of supporters at the Memphis Child Advocacy Center who have committed to help specific families. In Spanish, a padrino is a godparent—a person who plays an important supportive role during special coming-of-age events—and sometimes during hard times.
When you become a member of The Padrinos, once or twice a month you’ll receive alerts about families with pressing needs. We ask that you commit to help meet those needs, at least one or twice a year, by purchasing some items for the family. You can choose when and how you are able to help.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Padrinos, contact our development coordinator (thoggan [at] memphiscac [dot] org) at (901) 888-4383.
